I just wanted to share this quick and easy pattern with everyone who might be thinking about a valance. This is the Butterick B5369 Pattern. It was super easy to make. I did run out of matching ribbon, so I recommend for more than one window, make sure you have plenty of ribbon. This called for two patterns of fabric, fusing, thread, needles, sewing machine, iron, ribbon, and scissors. The instructions are in the pattern and very easy to follow.
